Created in 1923 in the borough of Rhode-Saint-Genèse, Royal Waterloo Golf Club was established in 1961 in Ohain (borough of Lasne) on the prestigious "Marache" course (also called "A-B") and two 9-hole courses, the "C" and "D" designed by the famous British architect Fred Hawtree.

In the 80's, the "C" course became the "Bois-Héros" while the "D" course is remodeled and completed by an additional 9-hole course, the "E", to create the "Lion".

Royal Waterloo Golf Club is a welcoming family club for any Belgian or foreign golfer who, while respecting the rules of Club etiquette and the elementary rules of decorum, wish to share a few exceptional moments away from the rigors of daily life. The Club is located in the beautiful region of Brabant Wallonia, close to the famous Waterloo battlefield.

Royal Waterloo Golf Club has been elected best Club of Belgium 2020 by Leading Courses and n° 1 in the international Golf Digest.

At Royal Waterloo Golf Club respect for the environment is a priority. Our strategy is to manage our courses efficiently (140 hectares) allowing nature to regenerate and offering the benefits of its energy to avoid the use of substitutes that are harmful to the planet. Our objective is also to provide for our own needs by relying on our green keepers and reducing the use of sub-contractors.
